WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Your kids will have a blast at Oak Creek Kids! We have 4 age group classes for your kids. Our nursery is for infants - 2 years old and our littles class is for kids 3 - 5. Both of these classes meet at the start of church (before worship) in our main building. Kids 5 - 11 meet at the same time but gather in the little building on the hill. Our last class is for early teens 12 - 15. This group meets after our main worship session. They gather in the foyer and then walk up to the basement of the building on the hill.

If I can't attend in person, where do I watch the livestream? We'd love for you to experience OCB in person but if you can't attend you can watch our livestream on our Facebook page or on our website. Links are below. Facebook Church Website

What is worship like? Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise and feature a variety of traditional and contemporary music. Lyrics for songs will be displayed on a large video screen throughout the service to encourage participation. There may be special announcements or features; occasionally dramas and videos are presented. We also take up our tithes and offerings (giving) during worship. Giving is for our members, or anyone who would like to give to the ministry, so there is no expectation or requirement for a visitor to give.
-
Weren't you a Vineyard Church?Yes, we were the Vineyard at Johnstown or VCC for about 20 years. We left the movement and went back to being independent in October of 2022. We're not against the Vineyard Churches but over the past few years we've noticed a growing difference to how we do church and our alignment to Kingdom principles compared to that of the Vineyard Association. So, the Vineyard at Johnstown is now Oak Creek Bible Church.
-
What do I wear?We are a casual church. While some people choose to dress up, most choose to dress casually. Please come however you are comfortable.
-
Will a children's ministry be available?Yes, our Sunday services will have a staffed nursery (under 2) and a toddler class (2 - 5 years) in our main building. Kids 6 - 11(ish) have a kids class in our small building on the hill. These classes start at the beginning of church so your kids will be taken care of through worship and the message. Our Pre-Teen/Teen class will not meet during our Christmas services on December 9th and 10th. They will remain in the sanctuary for this special service. Once back to normal the following week, they will meet in the foyer after worship and walk up to the basement of the little building together.
-
Where do I park?Oak Creek Bible Church has plenty of parking available. Our lots start right off the street and cover the front and side of both buildings.
-
Will you single me out as a visitor? No, we won't single you out. During our regular services, we encourage everyone to say "Hi" to someone they may or may not know. This is during the transition time between worship and our message so it's a brief interaction. That's it. We promise we won't sing to you or ask you to stand and introduce yourself. We want you to come, enjoy and feel comfortable celebrating with us.
-
How long are the services? Our services are generally 1 hour and 15 minutes.
-
What time do services start?Service Times: Saturday: 6:00 PM (Live-Streamed) Sunday: 9:00 AM (Live-Streamed) & 10:30 AM (Not Live-Streamed)

What kind of messages will I hear? Our messages are based on biblical truths. Sometimes they are encouraging and sometimes they are convicting, but they are always relevant to life and our ever changing culture.
